Susan Samuel
Susan Samuel was in the United States Air Force from 1987-2009. She was trained in Imagery Intelligence at Goodfellow AFB in Texas, and then stationed at RAF Alconbury in England. From there she was assigned in Base Information Management at Reese AFB in Texas. From there she went into Operation Applications Intelligence for F-16/F-4Gs, F-15, & A-10 squadrons at Spangdahlem AB Germany, Pope AFB North Carolina, and Bradley ANG CT. She closed out her career back in Imagery Intelligence as a Reservist with the Defense Intelligence Agency, Washington DC. She retired with the rank of Major in May of 2009.
"I got involved with the Resilience Grows Here initiative through the East Granby Veterans at the beginning of the project," said Susan of her involvement with RGH. "The more I learn about the state of mental health and our veterans the more I want to help, and be a part of a solution. There is so much to be done for the many who have given their youth to our great country."
