Steve Troop
US Army Veteran, Active Duty 1990-1994
Steve is a US Army “disabled” veteran who is still recovering from a parachuting accident sustained during active duty. For Steve, nature is the key to his well-being and he takes time every day to get outside in the woods and connect with the natural world that we call Mother Nature, Gaia or Pachamama. He deeply believes there is an alternative to all the violence and destruction and invites us to stand together and commit to making our world a better place.
Steve is choosing to live this path through accepting people’s differences and remembering that we are all human beings with the same essential needs. With decades of training in outdoor leadership, peer counseling, and many other skills, Steve is committed to a more peaceful world made possible through our individual and collective positive actions. He lives his life with the intention of, may peace be with you now and always!
