INITIATIVES
Our veterans have told us that although traditional therapies can work and have a place—they need more options for addressing their needs “before, during and after” deployment. Being valued and understood by their communities and having a safe place to gather and support each other are often cited as central to their mental health and healing. The “Resilience Grows Here” project emerged from these discoveries and is a brave and innovative mix of proven alternative approaches to supporting veterans and their needs.
