Anzac
Anzac, our Veteran PTSD/Service Dog in-training lovingly supports our community of veterans and offers comfort and safety to those who need him most. Born on Veterans Day, 2015, Anzac was the first pup of a litter of eight pure bred American Labradors. His father Brady is also a veteran PTSD dog. Eventually, RGH hopes to engage veterans in service dog training programs.
At eight weeks of age, Anzac and his litter were tested to see who would be the most suitable. A very special veteran and amazingly generous trainer picked Anzac, and our adventure began! Since he was twelve weeks old, Anzac has worked with a community of veterans, spreading magic everywhere he goes.
Anzac will continue his training over the next twelve months. He loves being of service to those gave so much for this country and every day, he touches the hearts of many in the Farmington Valley and beyond!
