David Peling

David Peling Sr. is the principal of East Granby High School. Dave is currently completing his doctoral work at the University of Connecticut. Prior to coming to East Granby four years ago, Dave taught history for nineteen years at Hall High School in West Hartford. Dave is widely traveled, having spent significant time abroad throughout Europe, Russia and China.  Dave is married with two children and lives in Granby. His interests include traveling, photography, and cooking. According to Dave, " I am excited about this project because it not only creates a new pathway for our students to give back to our community, but also helps everyone in the community become more aware of the issues surrounding mental illness."
